VICTORIA, Texas – Oklahoma City University carded 293-292–585 to win the Claude Jacobs Invitational by 20 strokes Monday at the Club at Colony Creek.
Jessica Schiele fired a round-two 71 and Elia Folch turned in a round-two 69 on the par-72, 5,856-yard course to finish first and second overall respectively.
The Stars, ranked No. 4 in NAIA women's golf, entered the second and final round with an eight shot lead over Cal State San Marcos and a 20-shot advantage over Wayland Baptist (Texas). OCU fired 292 in the second round to extend its lead over Cal State San Marcos to 20 shots.

It was fifth college win in American by Schiele, pictured right, a senior-year student from Grimsby, Lincolnshire, England.
She won three times in the 2011-2012 college season and once in 2009-2010.
I'm really proud of the way the girls performed,” OCU coach Marty McCauley said. “They have been working very hard and it's great to see such a wonderful result.”
Teams saw temperatures in the high 60s with strong wind during the final round of play.
Schiele rolled in nine birdies and an eagle to finish with 68-71–139. Schiele finished two shots ahead of Folch and nine strokes in front of Brooke Brasseaux of Houston-Victoria (Texas).
Folch, a junior from Barcelona, Spain, carded the lowest score of the second round at 69. Folch tallied five birdies and finished in second place with a total score of 72-69–141.
OCU will return to action in the Texas A and M-Corpus Christi Islander Classic on Feb. 25-26 at Corpus Christi Country Club in Corpus Christi, Texas. Results
