JENNA JOINT SIXTH AT WORLD GOLF INVITATIONAL
Jenna Birch, pictured above, from Fleetwood, a junior (third-year) student at Armstrong Atlantic State University, finished T6 in a field of 72 players at the World Golf Invitational women's college tournament over 36 holes at the Slammer and Squire Course, St Augustine in Florida.
Jenna had rounds of 76 and 74 for a six-over-par total of 150 over the par-73, 6010yd course.
She finished eight shots behind the winner by two, Meghan Moore (UNC-Pembroke) who shot 72-70 for two-under 142.
Seminole State (592) won the team title ahead of Flagler College (611), UNC-Pembroke (616) and Armstrong Atlantic State (617) in a field of 13 teams.

Meanwhile, Grand Canyon University students Phoebe Cipa from Upminster and Tiffany Hewetson from Brighton finished T38 and T42 respecitvely in a big field of 109 players at the PLNU Super San Diego Challenge women's college tournament at Riverwalk Golf Club, San Diego, California.
Phoebe shot a pair of 83s for 166 and Tiffany 85-82 for 167.
Winner by one shot was Megan Woodland (UVIC) with rounds of 70-79 for five-over 149 at the 5,934yd par 72 course.
CSU-San Marco (626) won the team title with Grand Canyon (632) runners-up in a field of 20 teams.
