SALLY WATSON'S JT 22ND FINISH IN CALIFORNIA

Sally Watson from Edinburgh, a student at Stanford University, California, finished joint 22nd in a field of 60 players at the Cal Classic women's college golf tournament at Ruby Hill Golf Club, Pleasanton, California this week.The former Curtis Cup player had rounds of 78 and 74 for a total of eight-over-par 152 over a par-72, 6304yd course.
She finished 13 shots behind the winner by five, Spain's Nicole Jimenez (Arizona State) who had scores of 68-71 for five-under 139.Consolation for Watson was that she helped Stanford (586) win the team title ahead of Arizona State (592) and San Diego State (597) in a field of 11 teams.
