Kim Bradbury from Buxton, Derbyshire - a third year student at Old Dominion University, Virginia - has scored what might be her first win on the US women's college golf circuit.
If she reads this, she might let us know!
Kim, pictured, headed a field of 76 players at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate over a par-72, 6135yd course at Eagles Landing County Club, Stockbridge in the state of Georgia with scores of 73, 73 and 77 for 223. That last round suggests the bad weather that hit the east of the United States on Sunday also called in at Eagles Landing.
Old Dominion team-mate Elizabeth Haycock, also a junior year student, from Birmingham finished 11th on 237 with rounds of 82-76-79.
Melissa Siviter, yet another third-year student, but at Georgia State University, and she comes from the West Midlands, finished T12 on 238 (85-79-74). That last round, you will note, was three shots better than the winner.
Kent State (931) won the team title ahead of runners-up Old Dominion (942) with Georgia State and James Madison joint third on 945 in a field of 14 teams.-
