RACHAEL TAYLOR CHASING TOP 10 FINISHED IN LSU CLASSIC

Scot Rachael Taylor, a freshman student at North Carolina State University, is lying joint13th in a field of 79 players with one round to go in the LSU Classic at the University Golf Club, Baton Rouge in Louisiana.
Rachael, pictured, whose dad is a club professional in Germany, had rounds of 75 and 73 for four-over-par 148 over a par-72, 6305yd course.
Four players, including two USA Curtis Cup team players, Erica Popson (Tennessee) (71-73) and Emily Tubert (Arkansas) (72-72) are sharing the lead on 144.
Aberdeen's Gemma Dryburgh (Tulane University) is in joint 32nd place on 153 with scores of 76-77.
Alison Knowles from Mexborough, a freshman student at Louisiana-Montroe is T44 on 157 wth rounds of 78-79.
Arkansas (590) lead the team title chase, 10 shots ahead of Tulane and LSU with Tennessee (602) fourth and North Carolina State (604) fifth in a field of 14 teams.
