HEATHER MUNRO WINS ANGUS JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
In a fantastic
display of golf Heather Munro (Monifieth) beat Claire Robertson
(Carnoustie Ladies) by 2 holes at Montrose Links to win the Angus junior championship.
Claire took at early lead, with Heather bringing it back to all square at the turn.
Consecutive birdies on the 13th and 14th by Heather took her to 2 up. Claire won back the 16th but Heather maintained her lead and won the 18th.
Both girls played extremely well and are showing great promise for the coming season. Well done!
