JESSICA BRADLEY JOINT 2ND IN SSC CHAMPIONSHIP IN FLORIDA



 Jessica Bradley (Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida) from North Devon finished joint second in the Florida Blue SSC Championship at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club, Dade City in Florida.
Jessica, pictured, had rounds of 73, 75 and 76 for 224. She finished one shot behind the winner, Liliana Camissa (Nova Southeastern) (74-77-72 fo4 223 over a par-72 course of 6,100yd).
Abbey Gittings, a senior from Warwickshire and a NSE team-mate of the winner, finished joint eighth on 228 with three rounds of 76. You can't get more consistent than that!
Rachel Polson (Florida Tech) from Peterculter near Aberdeen finished 31st on 246 (80-82-84).
Welsh player Rachel Lewis (Nova SE) had scores of 85 and 81 but did not finish her final round. 
Florida Southern and Nova SE tied for the title on 909 with Lynn (914) third in a field of nine teams.   

JENNA BIRCH JT 5th IN PEACH BELT 


Jenna Birch, pictured left, from Fleetwood, Lancashire, a third-year student at Armstrong Atlantic University, finished joint fifth in a field of 39 players at the Peach Belt Conference Championship at Callaway Gardens, Lakeview.
She had scores of 73 and 77 for 150, finished three shots behind the winner by one, Meghan Moore (Central Florida) 72-75).
Lander University (611) finished ahead of Armstrong Atlantic (620) in a field of eight teams. 

TAYLOR AND MALLETT TIE FOR 22nd 

Scot Rachael Taylor, whose father is a club pro in Germany, and Elizabeth Mallett tied for 22nd place in a field of 45 players at the ACC Championship at Sedgefield CC, Greensboro in North Carolina.
Over a par-71 course of 6,210yd, Rachael (pictured), a freshman student at North Carolina State, shot 76-77-80 for 233, a total matched by Elizabeth's 72, 82 and 79 scores.
Heidi Baek (Maryland), a freshman from Suffolk, finished T28 on 235 with rounds of 78, 80 and 77.
Heidi's Maryland team-mate, Jessica Gregory, a freshman from Sittingbourne, finished 43rd with rounds of 89, 85 and 87 for 261. Duke (882) won the team title ahead of NC State (906) with Virginia (909) third, Florida State (919) fourth and North Carolina (924) fifth in a field of nine teams.

 SAMMY, KIRSTY DOWN FIELD AT 96

Scots Sammy Vass (Gardner-Webb) and Kirsty Condon (Radford), pictured, did not distinguish themselves in the Big South Championship at The Patriot Golf Club at the quaintly-named town/city of Ninety-Six in South Carolina.
Iver a par-72 course of 6,083, Sammy from Tain, north of Inverness, finished T31 on 238 with rounds of 78, 79 and 81 while Paisley-born Anglo-Scot Kirsty finished 36th of 45 with scores of 78, 81 and 81 for 243.
Coastal Carolina (880) won the team title ahead of Campbell (888), Longwood (914) and Gardner-Webb (917) in a field of nine teams
