PAMELA FEGGANS BREAKS TOE - HAS TO PULL OUT OF OPENING PAUL LAWRIE EVENT
Pamela Feggans had to withdraw from today's opening event of the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Scottish Ladies Open Tour at wet and very windy Marriott Dalmahoy.
She explained why in the following E-mail:
"I broke
my pinky toe on my left foot on the 1st April ...... The day before I
was due to leave for the last access event in Dinard. Freak accident
in the house, was just rushing around and stubbed it on a piece of
furniture.
"Had to pull out of Dinard LETAS event. I rested
well for two full weeks and thought after playing a few holes and hitting
some balls in the last four or five days I could manage to play the two
events at Dalmahoy and Ratho. But it wasn't to be.
"I should have
listened to the doctor and waited another wee while. Dying to get back
out on the course!!
"Hope all goes well. Sorry again for the late withdrawal."
