PLEA FOR ONLY FOUR MORE ENTRIES FOR LAUNCH OF PAUL LAWRIE LADIES' TOUR AT DALMAHOY

THE first event on the inaugural Paul Lawrie Scottish Ladies Open tour - at Marriott Dalmahoy, Edinburgh, on April 18 - is fast approaching with its neighbour Ratho Park staging event No 2, also over 18 holes, on April 19.
"We are still short of four entries - lady pro or single-figure handicap amateur girl or lady - to reach our Dalmahoy target of 30 at which point the guaranteed £3,000 prize fund (cash + amateur vouchers) kicks in," said co-organser Colin Farquharson.
"For Ratho Park, we are short of the 30 mark by six entries.
"Surely a large golfing area such as the Lothians can come with only FOUR more for Dalmahoy and SIX more for Ratho Park?
"Please, please, please help us get the fledgling tour off the ground.
