SUSAN JACKSON RETAINS FIFE COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AT WINDY LUNDIN

Ladybank's Susan Jackson retained the Fife women's county golf championship at a very windy Lundin links today (Sunday)
Susan, the No 1 seed, edged out former county and past Scottish champion Elaine Moffat (St Regulus) at the 19th in the semi-finals and then beat Sam Munro (Aberdour), the No 2 qualifier, by 5 and 3 in the final.
Results:
Semi-finals - S Jackson (Ladybank) bt E Moffat (St Regulus) at 19th, S Munro (Aberdour) bt D Watson (Leven GS) 1 hole.
Final - Jackson bt Munro 5 and 3.
