AMY BOULDEN LEADS WELSH STROKE-PLAY BY TWO SHOTS

Welsh ace Amy Boulden leads the field by two strokes after 36 holes of the Welsh women's open amateur stroke-play championship at The Vale Resort.

Professional's daughter Amy (pictured in last week's Helen Holm tournament, shot a pair of par-matching 75s for a total of 150.
Nearest challenger with a round to go is England's Alexandra Peters (Notts Ladies) with scores of 75-77 for 152.
Leading Scot is Carnoustie teenager Jess Meek with 82 and 77 for 159. She is in joint 10th place.
Stirling University gymnastics student Eilidh Briggs, the top Scot after the first round with a 75, slumped to a 90 in the second and is back in 26th place on 165.
