DANIEL THOMPSETT SCORES SECOND WIN ON US COLLEGE CIRCUIT

Aboyne's Daniel Thompsett, a second-year student at Rocky Mountain College, Montana, has won the Frontier Conference Championship tournament this week and has qualified for the NAIA national championship later this month.
Thompsett, the 2011 North-east boys' champion and coached by Andrew Locke (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre), shot rounds of 74, 70 and 71 for a one-under-par total of 145 at Larchmont Golf Club, Missoula in Montana.
He had a one-stroke winning margin for his first victory of the 2012-2013 college season. He also won during the 2011-2012 campaign.
