EAMON BRADLEY NAMED "FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR" IN SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE
Eamon Bradley, from Glasgow, a student at Southeastern Louisiana
University, was named "Freshman of the Year" in the Southland Conference
this week.
From the Southland Conference website:
"Bradley is the third Lion to earn the distinction, joining Brett Bergeron (2003) and Philipp Westermann (2010). In 10 tournaments this season, Bradley had four top-five finishes, including a win at the Carter Plantation Intercollegiate hosted by Southeastern Louisiana in March. At Carter Plantation, Bradley shot par or better in all three rounds and carded a 5-under par 211 for the tournament. Bradley was a key factor in helping the Lions claim their fourth Southland title with his third-place finish in the conference championship, including shooting a 1-under par 71 in a tough second round where no other golfer scored in red figures. Bradley is the only freshman to make first team all-conference this season."
Southeastern Louisiana have qualified for the years NCAA Regionals to be played later this month.
