Kelsey MacDonald goes into her second tournament as a professional in Sweden tomorrow (Thursday) boosted by a hole in one in practice for the Kristianstad Ladies Open on the Ladies Europe Tour's developmental circuit.
She used a five-iron from the tee at the 180yd third hole and it was bucketing rain at the time.
Her playing partners were Katy McNicoll from Carnoustie, Alford's Laura Murray and Danielle McVeigh from Northern Ireland.
"It was a rather spectacular strike and Kelsey's third ace," said Katy.

"Laura is a bit of a lucky charm for Kelsey because that is the second of her holes in one she has witnessed."
The weather in Sweden is just about the same as in Scotland - 12 degrees, rainy and a 30mph wind!
Looking back on her debut as a professional in Turkey last week where she made the cut and won prize money - it took Justin Rose 25 pro tournaments to make his first cut! - Kelsey commented:
"The National Golf Club course in Turkey was very tough if you did not keep it on the fairways and I was very happy to make cut.
"Rachel Drummond was a great help to me. She missed the cut and volunteered to caddie for me next two rounds which really helped in posting two solid scores.
"All in all I was very happy with my first tournament as a pro and I enjoyed all the tournament activities."
Kelsey will be making her debut in Scotland as a tour pro in the Paul Lawrie Ladies Tour events at Downfield, (July 2), Carnoustie (July 3), Blairgowrie (July 11) and Alyth (July 11).
