BRIDGET JACKSON BOWL TEE TIMES AT HANDSWORTH GC ON TUESDAY
Bridget Jackson, a Curtis Cup player in 1958, 1964 and 1968, runs the Bridget Jackson Bowl 36-hole women's open tournament at Handsworth Golf Club, Birmingham for a 32nd time on Tuesday (June 11).
Bridget's tournament is normally studded with stars but, due to an unfortunate clash of dates, they are nearly all playing in the British women's open amateur championship which also tees off on Tuesday at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Machynys Peninsula course on the South Wales coast, near Llanelli.
But Miss Jackson won't let a minor detail like that put her off. One of the game's died-in-the-wool enthusiasts, Bridget will make the best of the situation.
The draw for the Bridget Jackson Bowl is:
8.15 and 13.30 Kyra Horlock (Broadstone) and Elizabeth Richards (Hagley).
8.22 and 12.37 Aimee Wilson (Mickleover) and Victoria Mallett (Sutton Coldfield).
