HOLLY CLYBURN HEADS ALL-STAR CAST FOR PAUL LAWRIE TOUR EVENT AT DOWNFIELD, DUNDEE

The field for the Paul Lawrie Scottish Ladies Tour 18-hole event at Downfield Golf Club, Dundee on Tuesday, July 2 is arguably the strongest yet in this the fifth tournament of the fledgling circuit which is open to any lady professional and any girl/lady amateur with a single-figure handicap.
The prizefund at Downfield will be at least £3,000, thanks to a £500 additional boost from Stewart Spence, proprietor of The Marcliffe at Pitfodels Hotel and Spa on western suburbs of Aberdeen.t
The appearance of Ladies European Tour players Holly Clyburn (pictured above), Kylie Walker, Pamela Pretswell, Claire McQueen and other  notables for the first time must be a sign that the Paul Lawrie Tour is beginning to become known farther afield.
A member of the Curtis Cup-winning team at The Nairn last June, Holly from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, won her first event as a lady pro - on the LETAS circuit in Spain last November.
This year, at the end  of May, Holly scored her maiden win ont he Ladies European Tour in Amsterdam.
 Chrisje De Vries, winner of the inaugural Paul Lawrie Ladies Tour event at Dalmahoy in April, is coming back over from Netherlands to see if she can score another victory in Scotland.
It should be a great event - and spectators will be made most welcome. No Admission charge - no car parking fee.
