NORTHERN COUNTIES FAVOURTIES TO WIN TAIN TICKET
Northern Counties are the only team with a 100 percent record going into the final day of the North Division women's inter-county team golf championship at Tain Golf Club.They beat Scottish champions Angus 6-3 on Saturday and accounted for Perth and Kinross by a similar margin today (Sunday).
Northern Counties complete their programme on Monday by playing Aberdeenshire who beat Perth and Kinross 5-4 on Saturday but lost all three foursomes today (Sunday) to Angus and went down 6-3
The divisional champions - and Northern Counties are the favourites - go forward to the Scottish county finals at Stirling Golf Club from September 20 to 22.
