PAMELA FEGGANS ONLY SCOT TO BEAT THE CUT IN PARIS

Ayrshire's Pamela Feggans was the only Scot to survive the second-round cut in the Fourqueux Women's Open at Forqueux Golf Club, near Paris today.
In sweltering temperatures - up in the 80s - Doon Valley's Feggans beat the cut by one shot with shots of 73 and 75 for 148. In joint 17th place overnight, she trails the three-stroke leader, Cassandra Kirkland (France) (69-68) by 11 strokes.
The thirty-seven players who made it through to the final 18 holes had to have aggregates of 149 or better.
Heather MacRae (Gleneagles), a winner in Sweden a couple of weeks ago, missed out by one shot with rounds of 77 and 73 for 150.
Krystle Falkner (St Andrews) failed on 152 (76-76), a shot ahead of Alford's Laura Murray (75-78).
Gemma Webster totalled 158 (80-78) and Katy McNicoll (Carnoustie) (81-79 for 160) is still trying to recapture her form of earlier in the season.
