QUALIFIERS FROM PANMURE FOR FALDO SERIES GRAND FINAL

Age category winners at the Nick Faldo Series Scottish 36-hole qualifying competition at Panmure Golf Club today were: 

Boys Under-21 – Andrew Davidson (Charleton)

Boys Under-18 – Michael Brodie (Strathmore)

Boys Under-16 – Alex Chalk (Dumfries and Galloway)

Girls Under-21 – Heather Munro (Monifieth)

Girls Under-16 – Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne).

They all qualified for the Faldo Series Grand Final which is moving away from its traditional Lough Erne Golf Resort, Northern Ireland to a new venue still to be announced..

Brodie and Munro topped the boys and girls overall scoreboards.
Michael had rounds of 73 and 71 for a four-over-par total of 144, one ahead of Alex Chalk (72-73). Heather had 10 strokes to spare in the girls category with scores of 76 and 78 for six-over-par 154.
