BORDERS WIN SOUTH DIVISION TITLE AND PLACE IN COUNTY FINALS
Borders have joined Aberdeenshire, Midlothian and Renfrewshire in the Scottish women's county golf championship finals at Stirling Golf Club from September 20 to 22 by winning the South Division inter-county team title after three days of competition at Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club.
Borders topped the table with 1 1/2pt after Dumfries-shire and Galloway drew the last match 4 1/2-4 1/2
Dumfries-shire were runners-up with 1pt (two halved matches) and Galloway were third with half-a-point.
