Claire Prouse has followed up her recent victory in the North of Scotland women's championship at Deeside by setting a new women's course record at her home club, Murcar Links.
Playing in the club's women's medal competition, Claire shaved a shot off Carol Wilson's record of 68 with a five-under-par 67.
Her bogey-free round's halves of 37-35 included birdies at the first, fifth, 12th, 14th and 15th.
Aberdeenshire officials have not yet named their team for the Scottish women's county finals at Stirling in September. If Claire is chosen it will be her second county cap. She played for Shire as an 18-year-old.
Aberdeenshire have to make at least one change from the team that won the North Division title at Tain in June as Rachel Polson (Peterculter) will be back at college in America when the finals are played from September 20 to 22.
