Danielle Ker has another course record to add to her collection after winning the South of Scotland girls' medal competition at Kelso Golf Club today.
Her new
Kelso record of 70 follows last month’s medal round of 68 at the Roxburghe
and last year’s 70 at Jedburgh in the Border girls' strokeplay
championship. Not many 17-year-old girls can claim to be the women's record-holder at THREE courses. Well done, Danielle!
As Danielle was the overall winner with a net 67, Tara Mactaggart from Minto won the scratch prize with a 76
All in all a very good month for the girls, who were both members of the successful Borders team which qualified to represent for South Division at the Scottish women's county finals at Stirling Golf Club in September.
