ENGLAND WIN TWO OF THE THREE TITLES AT EUROPEAN YOUNG MASTERS

England's Bradley Moore holds, we think, the European Young Masters' team trophy. He also won the European Young Masters' boy's title.

After a drama-packed last hour of play - a bad weather suspension of play just after 5pm heightened the tension - England won the combined boys and girls European Young Masters team title at Hamburger Golf Club, Falkenstein in Germany.
And Bradley Moore (Kedleston Park, Derbyshire) won the boys' title by two strokes with a nine-under-par total of 204. Team-mate Marco Penge, the new England U15 and U16 champion from Worthing GC, Sussex finished fourth on 207.
The girls' championship was won by five shots by the Spanish Junior Vagliano Trophy team player, Covadonga Sanjuan.
The European Young Masters is for boys and girls under the age of 16 years.
The full England team was  Bradley Moore, Marco Penge, Alice Hewson (Berkhamsted GC, Herts) and Sophie Madden (West Essex). Both Alice and Sophie played for GB and I in the Junior Vagliano Trophy match at Chantilly recently.
