Scotland will be walking the qualifying tightrope in the second stroke-play round of the European girls team championship at Linkopings, Sweden.
Only the top eight teams after 36 holes of stroke-play will qualify to contest the championship match-play flight.
The Scots girls are sharing seventh and eighth places with Norway on 380 with ninth-placed Netherlands only a shot behind the pair.
Spain are the leaders on 362, a stroke ahead of France with England (368) in third place.

Scotland's top scorer was Lauren Whyte (St Regulus), pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, with a one-over-par 73 (36-37) which was not a bad effort considering she had a double bogey 7 at the long sixth.

The Scots non-counter was Clara Young (North Berwick), beaten finalist in the Scottish women's amateur championship. She had an 83, including an inward half of 44 which included two double bogeys
