FEGGANS LEADS SCOTS IN SWEDEN

Pamela Feggans (Doon Valley) fared best of the Scots in the first round of the women's professional golf tournament, the Ingaro Ladies Open, near Stockholm, Sweden today (Thursday).
Feggans was in joint fourth place overnigh with a one-under-par 69, two shots off the pace despite a triple bogey 7 at the second.
Nairn's Kelsey MacDonald is sharing 13th place on 71 after a strong finish of birdies at the 14th 15th and 16th.
Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) is joint 20th on 72, three ahead of Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll who had no birdies in her 75 for joint 54th place.
Laura Murray (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) dropped five shots over the 10th (double bogey), 11th (double bogey) and 12th (bogey) on her way to a 76.
Gemma Webster (Elie SC) had an 83.
