HIGHLAND WOMEN'S OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP AT PITLOCHRY GOLF CLUB

Top seed Laura Walker (Muckhart) is through to play Sal Shepherd (Craigmillar Park) in the semi-finals of the Highland Women's Open golf championship at Pitlochry. She was roughly level par in beating Bobbi Waugh (Moorhall) by 7 and 6 in the quarter-finals, Shepherd was about the same in winning her afternoon tie by one hole over Pat Campbell (Downfield).

The other semi-final will be an all-Pitlochry affair between Isla Moncrieff and Laura Campbell.
 Laura came back from three down at the 12^th , winning four holes in a row, to beat Caroline Henderson (Aberfeldy) by two holes.
