Former British women's open amateur champion - at the age of 16 - Lauren Taylor (Woburn) on Saturday won the Dutch Junior Open girls' title at Golf Club Toxandria for the third year in a row.
As the age limit for the tournament is 23 years, Lauren could extend her sequence by a few more years yet!
She had four sub-par rounds of 71, 69, 71 and 69 for an eight-under-par total of 280 over the par-72 circuit in the Netherlands.
Said Lauren later: "I think everything about my game was in good shape. It was a tight course and you had to hit the fairways. I hit a lot of greens too and putted really well. Holed some key putts in the final round when the pressure was on. It's always nice to have a bogey-free round too!"
Next up for Lauren, a student at Baylor University, Waco, Texas, is the final qualifying round at Kingsbarns Golf Club, Fife on Monday, July 29 for the Ricoh Women's British Open starting over the Old Course, St Andrews on the Thursday that week.
She played in the last RWBO in Scotland - at Carnoustie the year before last.
