SUSAN WOOD WINS MORISON CUP FOR SIXTH TIME IN A ROW

 Drumpellier's Susan Wood won the Morison Cup 36-hole open competition at Colville Park GC this week for the sixth time in a row and the eighth time in all.

Susan, pictured by Jean Macintyre,  had a pair of 74s for a total of 148 - two ahead of runner-up Kirsten Brown (Strathaven) who had two rounds of 75.

Wood is still two victories shot of Joan Norris's record of 10 wins between 1964 and 1986. Brown also won the handicap prize and the Junior Scratch Cup.
