As the top-ranked junior girl in America, Alison Lee headlines the 12 players named today to the United States Junior Solheim Cup team.
Lee holds the top spot in the Golfweek Junior Rankings and the Polo Golf Rankings.
Five players qualified by their position in the Golfweek Junior Rankings, and five more qualified via the Polo Golf Rankings.
Lee, recent Rolex Tournament of Champions winner, will be joined by Nicole Morales, Casie Cathrea, Ashlan Ramsey and Casey Danielson, who also qualified because of a top-5 position in the Golfweek Rankings.
Bethany Wu, Karen Chung, Amy Lee, Andrea Lee and Samantha Wagner qualified from the Polo Golf Rankings.
Captain Kathy Whitworth selected Alexandra Kaui and Krystal Quihuis as wild-card picks.
The matches will be played from August 12-14 at The Inverness Golf Club in Englewood, Colorado. The United States leads the series, 3-2-1.
