FIONA LIDDELL WINS GERMAN UNDER-16 GIRLS' CHAMPIONSHIP

Germany-based Fiona Liddell won the German Under-16 girls' championship at Hannover this week.
Fiona, whose father is the club pro at Schloss Vornholz, had rounds of 77, 71 and 71 for a total of six-over-par 219 over a par-71 course with a CSS of 75 

Earlier this summer, Fiona played for the GB and I team in the Junior Vagliano Trophy match against the Continent of Europe at Chantilly Golf Club, France.
Fiona, who speaks German fluently and is being educated at a German school, won the German junior girls title by four strokes, finishing ahead of two German junior international girls, Antonia Eberhards, 2nd, four shots behind Fiona, and Ann Therease Rottluf, seven shots back in third place.
"Fantastic performance and a great end to the summer," said Stephen Liddell.
