LYON FOURSOMES 2012 FINALISTS MEET IN SEMI-FINALS THIS YEAR

Title-holders Murcar I and the team they beat in last year's final, Aberdeen Ladies 1, will clash a
stage earlier in today's (Tues) semi-finals of the Lyon Foursomes women's inter-club match-play
golf tournament at Murcar Links.

Murcar Links, who had a bye in the first round, made short work of Kemnay in Round 2, beating them
by a combined 19 holes in the double foursomes format.
First string Donna Pocock and Susan Murray finished eight up while Maihri Johnson and Carol Wilson
were 11 up in their match.
Aberdeen Ladies' Sheena Wood, Lauren Whyte, county champion Sammy Leslie and Fiona Seedhouse
scored clear-cut wins by 13 holes against Aboyne I and by 10 holes against Hazlehead.
