How many golf talent scouts from American colleges and universities are attending the British U18 girls' amateur championship which teed off at 6.30am (so they tell me! Too early for any golf writer to be out of bed)?
Two? Five? Maybe 10?
Wrong!!
I've checked out the number (and it may be even higher yet because former Curtis Cup player Kathryn Imrie, assistant to another Scot, head women's golf coach Anne Walker at Stanford University, is not here yet. She was at Tenby, South Wales for last year's British girls championship).
The answer is: TWENTY
representing, in no particular order:
Texas
Texas Tech
Ohio State
Auburn
Wisconsin
Georgia State
Georgia
Baylor
Campbell
East Carolina
Mississippi State
Kentucky
Louisiana State
Ole Mississippi
Coastal Carolina
Iowa
Louisville
Cincinnatti
Hawaii
James Madison

They're looking to sign up the top talent in the field with a view to them enrolling at their colleges NEXT August.
