THREE SCOTS BEAT CUT, THREE MISS OUT IN FINLAND
Three Scots - Pamela Feggans, Heather MacRae and Laura Murray - made the 36-hole but but three
others - Katy McNicoll, Gemma Webster and Katy McNicoll - missed out in this weekend's Ladies European Developmental Tour event, the HLR Golf Academy Open at Vihti, Finland.
Ayrshire's Pamela Feggans is best plaed with one round to go. She has so far shot 71-72 for one-under-par 143 to be joint
eighth overnight and four shots behind the Danish leader, Daisy Nielson (70-69 for three-under 139).
Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) is joint 10th on 144 with scores of 73 and 71 while Alford's Laura Murray (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre), the first-round leader, slipped back from a 68 to a 79 for 147 and joint 22nd place.
Only the top 30 and ties made the cut and Katy McNicoll (Carnoustie) and Gemma Webster (Elie Sports Club), were both eliminated in joint 34th place on 150. Katy had a pair of 75s while Gemma improved by 10 shots, from 80 to 70. om vaom.
Kelsey MacDonald (Robert Rock Academy) was tied 53rd on 152 with scores of 75 and 77.
The total prize fund is 40,000 Euros.
