EILIDH CRAWFORD IS NEW JUNIOR MIDLOTHIAN CHAMPION

Our Junior Championship was held on Sunday at Newbattle Golf Club
After much too-ing and fro-ing as heavy showers came and went , it was decided to proceed with the 2013 Junior Championship but over nine holes.
It was a reduced field but seven girls braved the gale force winds but thankfully the rain stayed off until all the girls had completed the shortened course.
Some amazingly good golf was in evidence - only going to show that our girls can cope with anything!

Eilidh Crawford (Harburn) became the new Junior Midlothian Champion with a gross 40 over 9 holes and Rachel Steedman (Murrayfield) won the handicap trophy with a nett 32.5 closely followed by Megan Linton (Craigmillar Park) with a nett 33.
