FORT WILLIAM STUDENT MAKES GOOD START ON US COLLEGE CIRCUIT

North of Scotland golfer Alasdair Ross (17) from Fort William Golf Club  got his US college golf career off to a fine start competing for Union College, Barbourville, Kentucky at the Bill Sergeant Invitational, London, Kentucky.  
 Alasdair, who recently joined Union College as a freshman, was delighted to qualify for the team on their first outing of the season.  Alasdair achieved a top 20 finish in the tournament with a score of 75 on day 1 and 76 on day 2.   
Union College tied in 3rd Position overall for their best showing to date at the Bill Sergeant Invitational.  Union travel to Rome in Georgia for their next event of the season on the 30/09/13 – 01/10/2013
