JESSICA BRADLEY FINISHES SIXTH IN LADY FALCON INVITATIONAL
Jessica Bradley (Lynn Univeristy), pictured right, from Bishops Nympton, North Devon, finished sixth on 151 with scores of 75 and 76 at the Lady Falcon Invitational women's college golf tournament at LPGA International, Daytona Beach in Florida at the weekend.
Rachel Polson from Peterculter, near Aberdeen, a student at Florida Tech, finished joint 12th in a field of 52 players.
Aberdeenshire county team player Rachel shot a pair of 78s for a total of 156, 12 shots behind the joint winners, Emily Rymer (Florida Southern) (72-72) and Tiffany Chan (Daytona Beach) (71-73) who both hit the 144 mark to finish two shots ahead of the field.
Dayton State (595) won the team title ahead of Lynn (612) and Florida Tech (617) in a seven-team competition.
PHOEBE DOWN THE FIELD IN BRONCO CLASSIC
Phoebe Cipa from Upminster, a student at Grand Canyon University, Arizona, finished T36 in a field of 62 players at the Bronco Fall Classic at Falcon Crest Golf Club, Kuma in Indana.
Phoebe had rounds of 77, 82 and 79 over a par-72 course of 6159 yd for a total of 238.
The tournament winner by two shots was Kaci McCartan (Santa Clara University) with rouns of 71, 69 and 75 for one-under-par 215.
Santa Clara (875) won the team title from Boise State (882), Portland State (887) and Grand Canyon (909) in a field of 10 teams.
