PRESSURE ON SCOTS WOMEN IN SLOVENIA
Scotland are under pressure to make the top eight match-play flight of the European senior women's team championship at Bled Golf Club, Slovenia.
After the first of two qualifying rounds, the Scots are in joint eighth place on 408 alongside Switzerland with Germany only a stroke behind on 409.
Netherlands (388) are clear leaders from France (395).

Mary Smith, pictured, from Tain was Scotland's top scorer on the opening day with a 77 (39-38) which was joint ninth best.
Debutante Sheena Wood (Aberdeen Ladies) was just outside the top 20 with an 80 (41-39).
Alison Bartlett (Royal Dornoch) had an 82 (43-39) and Kathleen Sutherland (Royal Montrose) an 84 (42-42)
Fiona De Vries (St Rule) (44-41) and Lorna Bennett (Ladybank) (42-43) are both on the 85 mark.
