SCOTLAND LEAD IRELAND 2-1 AFTER SCOTSCRAIG FOURSOMES

Scotland, who have lost six matches in a row since they won the title at Whitchurch, Cardiff in 2010, could well be on their way to ending that dismal sequence.
They took the morning foursomes 2-1 against Ireland on the opening morning of the Womens
Home Internationals at Scotscraig Golf Club, Tayport in North Fife.
All the Scots did their bit but the stars of the show were Eilidh Briggs and Scottish champion Alyson McKechin who were an unbelievable seven under par in demolishing the talent Maguire twins, Lisa and Leona Maguire, by 5 and 4.
Eilidh and Alyson were out in five under par 30 ... had two eagles ... and Eilidh (pictured) even holed a 50yd pitch. It was their day!
Wales lead England 2-1 after the foursomes in the other match.
England are bidding for a hat trick of Miller Trophy titles.
