SCOTS WOMEN OUTCLASS SLOVENIA IN EURO TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

                                     HAPPY SQUAD OF SENIOR SCOTS IN SLOVENIA
Scotland outclassed Slovenia with a 4-1 victory in their Flight B match in the European senior women's team championship at Bled Golf Club, Slovenia.
The Scots now play Austria who were 4-1 winners over Iceland.
Alison Bartlett and Kathleen Sutherland halved the foursome against Slovenia.
Then Mary Smith (winner by 6 and 5), Sheena Wood (winner by 7 and 6) and Lorna Bennett (winner by 8 and 7) crushed the opposition.
Fiona De Vries' match, as is the custom in these European championships, was declared a halved match because the outcome of the match overall had been decided.
