The European Universities’ Golf Championships were staged in Saint-Saens, France from September 18 to 21.

The University of Stirling were defending champions for both the men’s and women’s team events.
They retained the men's title and finished second in the women's team championship.

Scottish amateur champion Alexander Culverwell (Stirling) finished runner-up in the men's individual championship and Eilidh Briggs, also of Stirling, did likewise in the women's individual championship.

Two more Stirling students, Mattias Eggenberger from Switzerland and Cormac Sharvin from Ireland, tied for third place in the men's individual competition.
Another Stirling student, Jack McDonald, was up with the leaders after rounds of 68 and 71 but had to retire as he became ill.
