ANOTHER GOOD FINISH BY ELIZABETH SWALLOW IN USA
Elizabeth Swallow from Berkshire, a second-year student at King University, Tennessee, is having a good first half of the 2013-2014 college season.
Her latest performance was to finish joint third in the Lady Flames Shooout over 36 hles at Cleveland Country Club, Cleveland in Tennessee.
Obviously, the tournament was played in "iffy" weather because Elizabeth, pictured right, had rounds of 80 and 78 for 158 while the winner, by six shots, Courtney Shelton (Lee University) had contrasting scores of 81-70 for 151
There were 48 players in the field.
Lee University (629) won the title from North Geogia (654) with King (699) sixth.
Samantha Taylor from Newcastle is a freshman at King University but has not made the team yet ... her time will come!
