FIONA HASTIE WINS EAST OF SCOTLAND CHAMPIONSHIP

Former Scottish champion Fiona Hastie (St Regulus) won the East of Scotland women's championship at Duddingston Golf Club, Edinburgh today
Fiona, pictured, who won the Scottish title at Cruden Bay in 2005 when her surname was Lockhart, shot a par-matching 72 - two under the CSS - to head a field of 42 by two shots from Lorna McKinlay (Dunnikier Park) and Emily Dalgetty (Glencorse).
Lorna's better inward half gained her second scratch prize.
Rachael Livingstone (Craigmillar Park) had the best net score of 71, off four.
Kate McIntosh (Broomieknowe) was runner-up with a net 74 (better inward half)
Fife won the County Trophy by one stroke from Scottish champions Midlothian with a gross total of 223.
