KELSEY LEADS THE SCOTS IN AZORES LADIES OPEN
Kelsey MacDonald is the leading Scot at the end of the first round of the Azores Ladies Open.
The 24-year-old from Nairn shot a two-over-par 74 to be lying joint 10th going into the second round, five shots behind the leader, Isabell (repeat Isabell) Gabsa from Germany
Rookie Lauren Taylor, the former British womens open amateur champion from Rugby, is only one stroke behind Gabsa.
Wales' Amy Boulden, another top amateur to turn pro recently, is sharing 18th place with Dunblane's Heather MacRae (Gleneagles) on the 75 mark.
Katy McNicoll from Carnoustie, enduring a form slump, is joint 49th after an 82
