HEATHER FACES BIGGEST PRESSURE ROUND IN HER CAREER TOMORROW

Gleneagles staff pro Heather MacRae dropped from two shots ahead of the field to joint third place, five strokes off the lead after a second-round, five-over-par 78 for a 36-hole tally of 147 in the final LET developmental tour event of the season, the Mineks Ladies Tour Classic at the National Golf Club, Atalya in southern Turkey.
MacRae's automatic promotion to the Ladies European Tour next season for finishing in the top five of the LETAS Order of Merit, hangs in the balance.
Heather is currently fifth in the table but could be overtaken if any of her rivals finish above her over the final round.
Denmark's Julie Tvede, 22nd in the Order of Merit, has gone four shots clear of the field with a pair of 71s for 142. She is the only player under par after 36 holes.
Victory might put the Dane into the top five if Heather does not achieve a high finish in Turkey.
Level with the Scot on 147 is Belgium's Chloe Leurquin (76-71) who is only two places behind her in the Order of Merit. If Leurquin makes the top three in Turkey and MacRae doesn't, then Chloe will climb into the final top five on the Merit table.
Heather, now 30, has dreamed of making it to the Ladies European Tour for years. Now the chance of bypassing the Qualifying School and going straight into the Big League is within touching distance. One good round can clinch it. One bad round can turn the dream into a nightmare.
MacRae, who was three over par after only three holes today, needs to steady her nerves and her boyfriend-caddie, Tartan Tour pro Chris Kelly, will play an important role in that department.
Kelsey MacDonald shot up to joint 16th place on the back of a one-over 74, one of the best scores on a quite windy day on Turkey's Mediterranean coastline. The Stirling University graduate is on the 153 mark.
Two more Scots, Sally Watson from Edinburgh and Carnoustie's Katy McNicoll qualified for the final 18 holes by hitting the limit mark of eight-over 154. Sally shot a 79 while Katy took 83 shots, 12 more than she required in the first round.
McNicoll suffered a confidence meltdown over the final nine holes which she covered in 46 shots with a triple bogey 7 at the 17th and double bogeys at the 10th, long 15th and 18th.
Ayrshire's Pamela Feggans missed the cut by seven shots with an 83 for 161
