THE WAY THEY WERE: 2003 SCOTLAND WOMEN'S HOME INTERNATIONALS TEAM

It's the Scotland team at the Women's Home Interationals, played at Cruden Bay GC in 2003.
Back row (left to right): Pamela Feggans, Lesley Mackay, Laura Wells, Ethel Farquharson (SLGA chairman), Elaine Farquharson-Black (team captain), Anne Laing, Louise Kenney, Karyn Dallas (team coach).
Front row (left to right): Heather MacRae, Lynn Kenny, Clare Queen.

Whatever happened to Laura Wells? All the rest can be accounted for.
Ireland won the title that year but if England had beaten Ireland on the final day, then Scotland would have been champions.
The other teams:

IRELAND - Claire Coughlan, Tara Delaney, Maria Dunne, Helen Jones, Sinead Keane, Tricia Mangan, Maura Morrin, Heather Nolan. Captain: Mary McKenna.

ENGLAND - Emma Duggleby, Sara Garbutt, Alex Keighley, Danielle Masters, Fame More, Kerry Smith, Nicola Timmins, Sophie Walker. Captain Nikki Clarke.

WALES - Becky Brewerton, Natalie Evans, Stephanie Evans, Anna Highgate, Sarah Jones, Jo Nicolson, Kate Phillips, Jo Pritchard. Captain: Anne-Marie Magee.

EDITOR'S  NOTE: Remarkable how many of these girls, at the top of their game only 10 years ago, have disappeared from the golf scene.
