CRISTIE KERR BECOMES A MOTHER WITH BABY BORN VIA A SURROGATE

The next time Cristie Kerr tees it up in an LPGA event, she'll do so as a mother.
Kerr and her husband, Erik Stevens, announced the birth of their first child on Saturday night via Twitter. The boy, Mason Kerr Stevens, was 7lb 10oz when he was born on December 8.
Kerr explained to her Twitter followers that she is medically unable to carry a child. Mason was born via a surrogate.
Stevens is a marketing consultant who also serves as Kerr's agent. Kerr and Stevens have spoken openly of their desire to become parents for a few years now.
