Irish women's amateur champion Paula Grant from Lisburn and Welsh international Katie Bradbury, also a RandA Foundation Scholar but a student at Exeter as opposed to Paula who attends the University of Ulster, had a enjoyable trip to Argentina a week or two ago, courtesy of the RandA.

For Paula it was a reward for winning the RandA Foundation Scholars' Tournament at St Andrews earlier in the year.
Paula finished T18 and Katie (pictured right)  20th in a field of amateurs and professionals at the Argentina Women's Open championship at the Hurlingham Club, Buenos Aires.
Paula had rounds of 75, 78 and 79 for 19-over-par 232 over a par-71 course.

Katie scored 80, 71 and 82.
The winner was Argentina professional Victoria Tanco with scores of 76, 67 and 69 for one-under-par 212.
Running in conjunction with the Argentina Women's were the Freddy Zorraquin Cup, a match between the two RandA representatives and two girl amateurs from the Argentine Federation.
Paula (pictured right) and Katie, with a combined total of 304, beat Aye Lin Irizar and Maria Belen Abrile who totalled 309.
The scores over the first two rounds also counted for the Argentina women's open amateur championship for the Fay Crocker Cup in which Bradbury finished 10th on 151 (80-71) in a field of 44 with Paul T12 on 153 (75-78).
Magdalena Simmermacher won the amateur title by four shots with a total of 138.
