Sixteen-year-old South Korean and top qualifier So-Young Lee's campaign in the Australian women's international amateur championship at The Grange Golf Club, Adeldaide, ended on the opening day of the match-play stages which feature the 32 qualifiers.
Lee lost to the 32nd qualifier, New Zealand's Chantelle Cassidy by 2 and 1 as Australia's leading players progressed.
Australia's World Nos. 2 and 3 amateurs Minjee Lee (Western Australia) and Su-Hyun Oh (Victoria) cruised to comfortable victories, winning 7 and 6, and 6 and 5 respectively over Sue Wooster (Victorie) and Samathan Foley (Queensland).
Jayde Panos (West Australia) also recorded a resounding 7 and 6 victory to move into the round of the last 16 on Friday afternoon.
Spain's Luna Sobron, beaten by Georgia Hall's hole in one at the 17th in the final of the 2013 British women's open amateur championship at Machynys, South Wales, won by 5 and 4 while Jenny Lee (South Australia), beaten finalist in the Australian championship 12 months ago, won by one hole.
The sixteen winners will play second-round ties on Friday afternoon (local time).
