JONES-DOHERTY CHALLENGE CUP MATCH-PLAY
JORDANA AND TARA JOIN HANNAH IN
LAST 16 AT CORAL RIDGE, FLORIDA
Three Scots and two English players will feature in the round of the last 16 at the Jones-Doherty Challenge Cup match-play tournament, the last individual event on the Orange Blossom Tour in Florida, at Coral Ridge Country Club, Fort Lauderdale.
Stirling students Jordana Graham and Tara Mactaggart joined team-mate Hannah McCook who received a bye into the second round as the No. 4 seed.
Graham (pictured left) won by 6 and 5 against Alex Pano from the United States.
Mactaggart, pictured below right, was a 3 and 2 winner over Elle Nachmann.
England international 17-year-old Annabel Dimmock (Wentworth) received a bye into the last 16 as the No. 5 seed.
She was joined by Olympic Games hockey team bronze medallist Chloe Rogers from Braintree Essex. Chloe won by 4 and 2 against Georga Gilling, an English student at Stirling University.
Iona Stephen (Ranfurly Castle) lost by two holes to the No 7 seed, Carolina Garrett while Manchester's Georgia Oboh lost by 9 and 7 to former US Curtis Cup player Meghan Stasi, winner of the Harder Hall Invitational at the start of the month.
