THERESE KOELBAEK IS GREAT DANE 

ON CACTUS TOUR WITH A SIX-UNDER 66

Therese Koelbaek from Copenhagen but US-based since she spent four years at UNLV (University of Nevada-Las Vegas did not have a good golfing year in 2013, her second as a pro.

But she has started 2014 with a bang.
Therese, pictured, who has played on the Symetra Tour, shot a six-under-par 66 after scorching to the turn in only 30 shots at the opening 2014 event on the Cactus Tour at the Foothills Golf Club, Phoenix in Arizona.
Koelbaek had an eagle at the eighth and birdies at the second, fifth, sixth and ninth. She cooled off with a double bogey 6 at the 11th but birdied the 14th and 17th to get it home in level par 36.
Kim Welch is her nearest challenger on 67 going into Round 2.
